Do you provide internet service?
No. ITN CONNECT is not an internet service provider (ISP), and we don’t sell internet service or plans. Your internet comes from a provider such as a cable, fiber, or satellite company. We handle everything on your side of the connection: network cabling, Wi-Fi, security cameras, and network equipment.
What are an MDF and an IDF?
The MDF (main distribution frame) is the main network room, where your internet service and core equipment live. An IDF (intermediate distribution frame) is a smaller closet, often one per floor or wing, that connects nearby wall jacks back to the MDF.
Can you clean up a rack without shutting down our network?
Most cleanups involve brief interruptions while cables are re-patched. We plan the work with you, and with your IT provider if you have one, to keep downtime short and schedule it at a convenient time.
Do you work alongside our IT company?
Yes. We coordinate with your IT provider on equipment, setup, and timing, so the work fits their standards and your schedule.
Do you label patch panels and cables?
Yes. Labeling is part of every rack installation and cleanup, so ports, cables, and wall jacks can be traced quickly.
Can you install a new rack for a new or expanding office?
Yes. We install the rack, terminate new cabling on patch panels, mount switches and other equipment, and organize everything before move-in.
