Security Camera Installation in Vancouver, WA

PoE camera systems with on-site NVR recording and phone viewing for businesses and homes in Vancouver, Portland, and nearby communities. Wired cleanly and set up so you know how to use it.

Wired Camera Systems That Record On Site

  • PoE cameras, one cable each
  • Recording on site to an NVR
  • Phone viewing set up and tested
  • No monthly subscription required

PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras get power and send video over a single network cable, so there are no batteries to replace and no outlet needed at each camera. Video records to a network video recorder (NVR) at your property. Wired cameras are more reliable than battery or Wi-Fi-only cameras, and your footage stays on site.

Because recording happens locally, you don’t need a monthly cloud subscription to record or to view your cameras. We set up the viewing app on your phone, make sure you can find and play back recorded footage, and walk you through the system before we leave.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide internet service?

No. ITN CONNECT is not an internet service provider (ISP), and we don’t sell internet service or plans. Your internet comes from a provider such as a cable, fiber, or satellite company. We handle everything on your side of the connection: network cabling, Wi-Fi, security cameras, and network equipment.

Do I need a monthly subscription for my cameras?

Not for a locally recorded system. Cameras record to an NVR at your property, and you view them through the manufacturer’s app. Some brands sell optional cloud backup plans, and we’ll explain the options for the equipment you choose.

How long is footage kept?

It depends on the number of cameras, their resolution, whether they record continuously or only on motion, and the size of the hard drive in the NVR. We size storage for the number of days you want to keep. Once the drive is full, the oldest recordings are overwritten automatically.

What is a PoE camera?

PoE stands for Power over Ethernet. A single network cable carries both power and video to the camera, so there’s no separate outlet or battery to maintain at each camera location.

Can you add cameras to my existing system?

Often, yes, depending on your current recorder and camera brand. We’ll review what you have and recommend whether to expand it or replace it.

Can you put cameras on a detached building or gate?

Yes. Where a cable run is practical, we hardwire it. Otherwise we use a point-to-point wireless link to bring the camera back to your recorder.

Do you install cameras for businesses in Portland?

Yes. We serve Vancouver, Clark County, and the Portland metro area for both commercial and residential camera installs.
